Hello my name is jen sacco and im taking calculus for the first time...im already confused and its the first week. i can use any help i can get. thanks sad

Last year, I found my best student (in a class of 100) reading a book called "Calculus for Idiots". She explained that she was better able to learn calculus from that book than our textbook. Based on her success, I think it might be a good idea to take a look at this book.

Second, I suggest you link up with someone else in class to help talk through some of the homework. Calculus is not easy and having someone to talk to about the subject helps to persist.

Research indicates that the most important trait for success in math is persistence.
