you have at least $30 in change in drawer, consisting of dimes and quarters. Write an inequality that shows the different number of coins in your drawer. I don't even know where to begin?

Let d represent the number of dimes in the drawer.
Let q represent the number of quarters in the drawer.

Since there is at least $30 in the drawer we have

0.10d + 0.25q >= 30

There are many solutions to this inequality ranging from 300 or more dimes with zero or more quarters to 120 or more quarters with zero or more dimes.
