I need to decide whether these are greater than or less than? 4 10 4 -10 -4 10 -4 -10 I need to know this rather soon so the faster the response the better. Thanks!! ![]() |

If you make up a number line, with 0 at the center and then go 1 unit to the right for #1, another unit to the right for #2, and so forth, and then 1 unit to the left of 0 for -1 and then another unit to the left to -2, and so forth, then it is easier to figure out. 4 is to the left of 10, so 4 < 10 4 is to the right of -10 so -10 < 4 or 4>-10 -4 is to the left of 10 so -4<10 -4 is to the right of -10 so -10 < -4 or -4>-10 Good luck! ---------------------------------------- Principal Skinner |
