For 1b, when x is near -1, y is near 3/4 For 2c, when x is near 0 on the left, the y values are near -3, and......when x is near 0 on the right, the y values are near +3. So the left hand limit is -3 and the right hand limit is +3, so the limit does not exist since the left and right hand limits need to be the same for it to exist. ---------------------------------------- Principal Skinner |
